2018 May EV Charging Stations & Load Management Systems

Registration Deadline: Tuesday May 15, 2018 ×

As electric vehicles (EV) become more prevalent, demand for EV charging infrastructure increases. Buildings that offer EV stations offer convenience, sustainable practices, and potential for owners. Because few buildings were designed for EV charging, they may not have sufficient electrical capacity to support all of the charging spots desired. Adding electrical capacity can be expensive so it's critical to configure the maximum aggregate electrical load for each group of charging stations. But what do EV owners look for when deciding where to charge their vehicle? And what determines whether your stations are being used or sitting empty? Investing in charging stations may be a wise business decision, but only if they are designed to attracted users and avoid costly upgrades.
